Project task was redesigning residential building facade without any changes to the interior plan.
The facade dynamics has been achieved by ejecting “the wooden box” at two opposite corner of the building, as well as the use of large window openings that make the space within the building extending outward.
We seek to express a sober, elegant and temporal architecture.
For that, we avoid using too much colorimetry as well as the excessive diversity of materials.
The building was built in the suburbs of Toulouse, a village of Vieille Toulouse in 2017.
Considering the urban conditions, curved building shape came out as the best solution for the specific location.
Window stripes, horizontal decorative cantilever and brise-soleil provide dynamics to the simple rounded form of the building.
The building will be located near the city centre of Novi Sad, Serbia.
